IGBS all set for Asian Winter Games

30/01/2011

As the Opening Ceremony of the 7th Asian Winter Games Astana-Almaty 2011 begins in Astana, IGBS is fully prepared and ready to deliver live coverage and content of the very highest broadcast standards. Five months of on-site preparation and an event-time crew of approximately 800 staff will ensure that this edition of the Asian Winter Games is transmitted to spectators around the world with the highest quality of production.

IGBS, together with SICC, has worked tirelessly in association with the OCA and AWAGOC to construct an International Broadcast Centre (IBC) fully equipped to provide Rights Holders with the exact services they require to transmit a superb Asian Winter Games product. Furthermore, IGBS continues to make broadcast history by delivering the event’s first ever HD 16:9 production.

With competition beginning tomorrow, marking Kazakhstan’s debut as a host nation of a major OCA sporting event, IGBS would like to take this opportunity to wish the best of luck to all competing athletes and to all of the event’s Rights Holders.
