IGBS, formerly Doha Asian Games Broadcast Services (DAGBS), is a joint venture between HBS and IMG Media which was set up in September 2004 with the mission of being the Host Broadcaster of the 15th Asian Games in Doha. The joint venture was so successful that the decision was taken to extend the collaboration to other projects. The company’s name was changed to IGBS to reflect this fact in 2007.
